Where did prisoners get locked up 100 years ago? How did “Poo Poo Point” get its name? And what does Issaquah mean, anyway? If you’re curious about the answers to these questions, then this hike is for you! Find out all this and more on this engaging, child-centered interpretive walk through downtown Issaquah. Museum Director Erica Maniez will lead the walk, and the accompanying conversations. Kids will leave with their own ideas about what makes Issaquah such a unique spot — and such a great hometown.
This walking tour is designed especially for kids in the 8-13 age range, and will start at the Issaquah Depot. Parents are welcome to tag along for no extra cost. Regular tickets are $7.50 each; IHM member tickets are free. Please purchase tickets via Eventbrite.
