Until Issaquah’s transformation from a small, rural town to a bustling bedroom community, growing up in Issaquah included fishing the nearby lakes and streams and hunting in the woods of Tiger Mountain, the plateau, and any other area where game made itself known. We’ll be sharing stories of hunting and fishing in Issaquah at our February 16th history program. The freight room at the historic train depot will be warm and toasty, and we’ll have hot coffee and snacks. Please join us!
