Pages of History

Once or twice a year, Issaquah History Museums hosts a hands-on art activity that lets children paint their own history of Issaquah. Using Bill Haddon’s Issaquah mural as a jumping off point, children think about what story they would tell about being an Issaquahn, and then tell that story through art. Their artwork gives them an opportunity to tell their story from their point  of view. We display the  resulting art at the Issaquah Depot for the following month, and online here afterwards. Our children’s experiences and how they feel about them are an important part of our history. We’re keeping it for you.
